Adelaide Pistol & Shooting Club Inc. are proud to affiliated with IPSC SA Inc. and enjoy a healthy relationship with them. Under our affiliation, APSC are required to host a STICS Match (IPSC SA sanctioned level 2 match) each year, and to date, they have been well attended by members from clubs form all over the state, and few clubs interstate.
The IPSC Section of APSC gather Saturday mornings for Level 1 Matches, incorporating a variety of props including moving targets, falling plates and assorted obsticles on the stage.
In addition to providing some of the best facilities in state, APSC can also boast winning an award for the "Best STICS Match", a level 2 match, in 2006. This would not have been possible if not for the efforts of the discipline captain and few devoted helpers.
Since then, the club has seen a continued growth within IPSC and strive to one day winning again the title of best stics match.
Many club members have seen the benefits of shooting at a state level, expanding their experiences and circle of friends within the world of sports shooting.
APSC, through the discipline captain, encourages all of its IPSC members to join IPSC SA so they too can participate in level 2 & above IPSC matches, both at home and abroad.
Members who wish join IPSC SA should contact the discipline captain for details, or obtain the current membership application form directly from the IPSC SA web site.
Members not wishing to join the state association still enjoy the discipline at club level with all the trimmings on offer.
for information relating to the current rules and all the relevant training, including holster proficiency, contact the discipline captain.
The club also runs IPSC Rifle (limited to pistol caliber only) & IPSC Shotgun matches once a month, allowing members to hone their skills in preparation for state & national championship shoots as and when they are run around the country.
